THE
IOS UK INDO-BRITISH TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP 2009
We had a very successful programme of 2 tours, once again this
year. As last year, the 2-week junior programme took place in
June 2009, culminating in the fellows' participation in our
Llandudno Annual Conference. This programme was supported by
BIOMET through an educational grant. The following were the
junior fellows:

The Senior programme took place in September 2009, around the
BOA Congress and the Indian Summer. This 2 week tour was
generously supported by DEPUY INDIA, with the logistical
support by DEPUY UK.
The following were this year's senior fellows.

The third fellow Dr Faizal Kareem could not make the trip,
having to cancel at the last minute due to family illness.

IOS (UK) INDO-BRITISH TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP - 2007
IOS (UK), as a
part of its educational programme, has set up these annual Travel
Fellowships, open to established Orthopaedic Surgeons practicing in
India. This venture is generously supported by BIOMET.
Selection for the Fellowship:
The selection
of the candidates for the three fellowships on offer is based on
academic achievement, professional standing and the overall
contribution to Orthopaedics and Trauma.
